Our Story
We Saw a Gap.
We Built the Bridge.
Jus One Academy was founded in 2017 to solve a problem too many of us have seen firsthand: our youth are graduating with traditional education, but without the real-world skills they need to thrive — how to start a business, manage money, communicate with confidence, and lead from a place of purpose.
We built a different kind of program. One that meets Black youth where they are. One that speaks their language, honors their experience, and prepares them for ownership — not just employment.
From after-school workshops in Prince George's County to summer academies across the DMV, we have served over 2,500 students, athletes, and emerging leaders with programs that make education feel alive, relevant, and theirs.
